Allied Women Entrepreneurs offers a variety of meetings, workshops, events, and programs each month. All events are open to the public; individuals do not have to be members of AWE to attend our events, although we encourage interested women to join.
Monthly Educational and Networking Meetings for Women Entrepreneurs. Always FREE for members and $10 for non-members. AWE’s monthly meetings provide an opportunity for women business owners and women entrepreneurs to enjoy an evening out after work to connect with other female entrepreneurs and learn about a relevant topic. Our monthly meetings are held on the first Tuesday of every month at 6:00 p.m. They include networking opportunities and short educational presentations on topics important to entrepreneurs at all stages of business ownership. Check our calendar for upcoming dates.
Allied Women Entrepreneur Workshops
At least quarterly, but often more frequently as desired by members, AWE offers in-depth workshops and classes on topics related to starting a business, business management, finances, marketing, social media management, and more. These workshops are led by professionals experienced in the subject being taught. Anyone, including nonmembers, may register for AWE workshops. Workshop fees vary based upon the class and material being taught; AWE Allied Entrepreneur Members receive workshop fee discounts.
AWE’s Annual Member Meeting
As a nonprofit organization, much of AWE’s governance is controlled by its members. Each spring, AWE’s members and the public are invited to attend our annual meeting during which they will hear official reports on the state of AWE as an organization. Members with voting privileges will have the ability to vote upon board members and operational issues. The date/time of the annual meeting and its agenda will be published one month prior to the date of the meeting, which is expected to be held in May.
Allied in Success Business Improvement Scholarships
