Allied Women Entrepreneurs (AWE) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization led by a Board of Directors committed to operating in a transparent and ethical manner that best represents the needs and wishes of AWE’s members. Board meetings take place monthly and follow Robert’s Rules of Order. Occasionally matters of importance may necessitate the addition of a special meeting outside the board’s normal meeting date/time. Agenda items discussed include finances, fundraising, programming, partnerships, and scholarship review.
At this time, board meetings are not open to the general public, however if a voting member of AWE would like to attend a board meeting or bring an issue to the board’s attention, she may do so by contacting the board chair.
